Le Fusil d'Assaut Lourd 22A5 est une variante de plus gros calibre du Fusil d'Assaut 22A3-1, particulièrement efficace contre les cibles en armure. L'attachement de grenade est remplacé par un mécanisme qui, en s'activant, augmente grandement la cadence de tir pendant une petite période. Attention, ce mécanisme entraîne une accumulation de chaleur, empêchant de réutiliser l'arme durant le refroidissement.
